Marathon has its presence in the industry from 1922 when the ancestors of the founders of the company helped in creating the master plan of 550 acres of the suburbs of Mulund. The company was formally established by Ramniklal Shah in 1969, and has come a long way developing residential, commercial, retail, mixed and township projects in the greater Mumbai area. Till date they have completed a total of 80 projects. They a have total of 18 million sq.ft. of land under-development out which 2 million sq.ft is occupied for business purpose.
